Long Term Fostering

Long Term Fostering

We regularly get asked to take elderly or poorly dogs into the rescue, whether their owners cannot afford to pay for their vet treatment, they have lost their elderly owners or simply because they don’t want them any longer because they are getting old. As we do not know how long these dogs have left or because their medication can be expensive, we make these dogs “long-term foster dogs”. This means that we find them loving homes but they remain under our care and we pay for all vet treatment and anything else they may need to ensure their lives are happy, comfortable and safe. They stay in their foster homes, with full support from the rescue, for the rest of their lives.
