Marnie is now ready for adoption. Here is her foster-mum’s write-up…

“Meet Marnie – a gorgeous nearly 6-year-old Shipoo with the sweetest nature and so much love to give.

Marnie is a sweet and affectionate little girl who absolutely adores people. She loves human company and is happiest when she’s by your side, soaking up all the attention and affection she can get.

She is fantastic at meeting new dogs and enjoys making furry friends, especially if it means she gets to have a play!

Marnie has a lovely social nature and would enjoy a home where she can continue building her confidence and enjoying fun interactions with other friendly dogs.

Marnie is also a big foodie, which makes her both adorable and easy to motivate. She can show a little resource guarding around other dogs when food is involved, but it is manageable and nothing major—just something her new family will need to be mindful of.

At night, Marnie settles beautifully and sleeps soundly. She also walks beautifully on the lead and has shown fantastic recall potential, making her a joy to take out on adventures.

Marnie is a loving, playful, and well-mannered little dog who is ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished.

Marnie has been around children of all ages while in foster care but hasn’t been cat tested.

Marnie is due her second round of vaccinations in 4 weeks (paid for by the rescue at any of their vets). She has already been spayed.

Marnie has a very tightly curled poodle coat that will need maintaining by a groomer every 6-8 weeks so this cost should be considered before applying for her.
