Chester is now ready for his forever home. Here is his foster-dad’s write-up…

“Chester is just the most lovely cocker spaniel. He has such a lovely nature and his behaviour in the house is impeccable.

His recall, however, is a different story! He is bird obsessed and has no interest in treats or a ball when outside. He needs somewhere where he has lots of exercise and another spaniel (active dog) to run around with would be ideal for him.

I can’t mention enough that he needs to go with someone who has plenty of time and patience to work on his recall. He pulls like a train on the lead, but we have made some great progress already with this. I have fallen in love with this boy and whoever adopts him will have a great companion”.

Chester is 18 months old and he is now vaccinated and neutered, so can go a little further afield for the right home.
