Ralph is a 3.5 year male cockerpoo, now neutered & vaccinated.

He’s an energetic little boy, very friendly and fine with new people too. He has a sensitive side, can be nervous of noises sometimes.

He’s been great with our dogs here but he wouldn’t like to be crowded or knocked into, generally prefers 1:1 dog interactions or mooching with dogs who aren’t playing. He’s gotten more confident over time. His bestie is Bella our foster cocker spaniel.

He’s great at crating, just be careful the door is open ready for him cos he will attempt to jump in whether it’s ready or not!

His vet notes show that he broke his hind right leg as a puppy and it’s not surprising as he’s 100mph 😂 If he sees a platform/ledge he will jump onto it before you realise he’s even thinking to.

He can be nervy when first meeting dogs so if you’re wanting to take him to busy places, just make sure to advocate for him or he might be a bit defensive.

He’s great travelling in the car, again he will dive in whether you’re ready or not! He’s very ‘leap first ask questions later’.

On the lead he’s a bit all over the place, zigzagging but he doesn’t tend to try to drag you and is very responsive. He is happy to eat kibble out and about too – ideal for further training.

I think he’d prefer a home where he’s got a dog friend, but equally could be an only dog.

He’s been great at the vets and great with handling. He likes retrieving toys in exchange for kibble and would thrive doing gundog style games to keep his brain satisfied.

He’s also a cuddler, really affectionate. He’s a really awesome little boy and whoever adopts him will have a ton of fun!

Ralph is in a child-free foster home, but he lived with a young child before coming to us so could go to a home with children of 8+.
