Bruno is now ready for adoption.
Bruno came to us recently after he had bitten one of his owner’s parents when they put his main meal down for him. Bruno is fine with treats and around people eating, but he does have a problem with his dinner and needs to be left alone to eat it. This has been working perfectly in his foster home for the past three weeks and there have been no problems at all.
However, Bruno is in quite a busy household at the moment and we think it may be a little too much for him. He is absolutely fine with his immediate foster family but he has growled and on one occasion snapped at visiting friends. The sad fact is that due to lockdown restrictions that have been going on for the past year or so, we are seeing so many similar issues with dogs who have become used to only seeing their own family and therefore struggling with visitors to the home. In Bruno’s case, it’s probably a bit of an overload for him so we think a quieter home with fewer visitors would make him more relaxed.
Bruno is faultless with his foster family and he has been great with every dog he’s met. He travels well and, although he cannot be let off lead while in fostering, his recall training on a long lead has been excellent.
Bruno can fret a little when left alone, so a working from home or retired household would be perfect for him.
Bruno is nearly 5 years old and he’s quite a big boy, with a gorgeous chunky head!
