We have had the pleasure of welcoming Daisy into our home while her foster mum has been away on holiday, and in that short time she has completely stolen our hearts.
Daisy is the sweetest girl with the biggest heart, she is incredibly loving, gentle and affectionate, everyone has fallen in love with her. I don’t think she has an aggressive bone in her body. She is incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and has so much love to give.
When Daisy first arrived, she was understandably cautious and unsure of her surroundings, but she is growing in confidence every day. She is doing well on the lead but her recall will need continued work and patience, she is eager to learn.
When meeting unfamiliar dogs, she reacts appropriately and, if she feels unsure, she freezes rather than being reactive.
She is now choosing to sleep on a bed instead of the floor, and she has begun picking up toys to play with. She would love to play with our dog, although she’s still figuring out exactly how to do that, she is a little socially awkward! We keep things calm and predictable at home, as loud noises and sudden movements can still make her jumpy. However, she is becoming more relaxed every day and is showing many positive signs that she is beginning to feel safe and secure.
Daisy is truly beautiful, both inside and out. She deserves a forever home filled with patience, kindness and understanding—someone who will continue to help her blossom.
Please apply “Daisy Lab x Pointer” as we have two Daisy’s in foster at the moment.
