Bonnie is a 2 year old female Golden Retriever who is currently in foster care.
When Bonnie arrived she was extremely nervous. During her time in foster care with love and attention she has blossomed into an adorable and loving dog.
Bonnie seeks out love and attention and will make a fantastic companion to a loving, attentive and caring owner.
Bonnie is quick to learn and responds to 'Sit, Stay and Lie Down'. She is fully house trained and loves her walks. She socialises well with every dog she meets. She currently walks 5 miles a day with her foster carer but can readily adapt to your lifestyle.
Bonnie needs an owner who will be in a position to spend time with her as she craves companionship and will thrive with a loving owner.
When Bonnie first arrived into our rescue it was suspected she had pancreatitis, however subsequent tests with our vets have shown this not to be the case. She does have a sensitive stomach and will need lower fat, high quality foods to keep her stomach and digestive system happy and to avoid whatever happened before she came to us happening again.
Bonnie is adored by her foster family and is currently living with a 9 year old boy. Their high amount of travel is the only reason they are not adopting Bonnie themselves as they love her. Her foster family has said they would love to have Bonnie stay with them when her adoptive family goes on holiday, so you will have a built in dog sitter!
