We are still looking for the perfect forever family home for Rodney (Rodderz) who came to us recently following a change of personal circumstances.

Here’s what his foster family say about him…

“Rodney is an adorable boy who will melt your heart with his playful, yet gentle nature. He has clearly been loved and cherished as he has slotted into family life with ease.

He sleeps through the night on his own and lets you know it is morning with a friendly bark and then greets you with giddiness and joy.

Rodney is fully house trained and even rings a bell on the door handle when he is ready to go outside! He can follow requests such as sit, lie down and go on your bed.

He is gorgeous with children and my 10-year-old has loved letting Rodney rest his head on him whilst being stroked.

Rodney has a lot of energy for play but also then relaxes and has a good rest and snuggles in next to you.

We think he would benefit from having a good-sized enclosed garden to play in – he loves fetching a tennis ball and showing off his hand shakes!

Rodney does pull quite badly on the lead, though this has improved with a halti. He has been fine when meeting other dogs”.

Rodney will need to stay local to the usual areas as he will need to be neutered in his forever home (paid for by us at our vets).

He is so wonderful with children that we would really like him to go to a family home with children (6+) and/or another neutered dog.
