Roxy is an 8-year-old lab who is making up for a life of breeding by enjoying every single second of her new life. She is fun loving and playful, this girl adores affection from every person she meets.
She is the most loving dog you could ask for, she enjoys cuddles and being wherever you are. She likes meeting people and is very friendly. She loves toys and chasing the ball.
She is fully house trained no accidents at all.
She really likes her food as all labradors do! She has been on a diet since she was fostered and has been doing really well. Her new owner will need to continue giving her appropriate exercise and keeping an eye on her weight.
She sleeps well at night time. She likes her bed and blanket and snores happily through the night! She wakes when she hears her humans wake up and greets us with a happy, enthusiastic wagging tail!
She has been good with children so would be able to go with a family with dog savvy children. Due to her size and enthusiasm to say hello to people she would probably be better for children over 10.
She has been sociable with our dogs. We have two Labradors and she loves to be with them, playing and running around.
She has not been off the lead away from the garden but her recall is good so with a little work this would be achievable”.
Roxy walks well on the lead, but can be a little vocal when meeting dogs while on the lead. This is most likely excitement as she is absolutely fine with all dogs she has met when off lead and in the home.
We are looking for a home with at least one other dog for Roxy, ideally similar sized and must be neutered.
Roxy will need to stay local to Derby, Nottingham, Stoke, Burton or Chesterfield as she will be on a spay contract.
